Week
After David's affair with Bathsheba, his family fell apart. One bad event after another. There was fraud, death, and treason in the ranks of the most powerful family in Israel. Probably not to the extent of David's family, but families all over Leavenworth are having problems.

David's response was worth following. David started by submitting to God's will. Next he recognized God's authority over creation. Lastly he prayed and worshiped God. Good advice for the family that is struggling through life.
A Quick Introduction
Grace and Truth Fellowship is a non-denominational fellowship in the heart of downtown Leavenworth. As such, we have all of the challenges of a small church, but enjoy the many benefits to being a small church. Being downtown gives us some interesting opportunities to meet people where they live. You never know who is going to walk through the door. Our location gives us access to downtown events which give us evangelism opportunities as well as a chance to be active in our community. We fully understand that this type of ministry is not for everyone. If you are here at our site looking for a local church and this doesn't sound like a good fit for you. We would pray with you that God shows you a ministry that does fit and a place that you can actively serve. If the work going on at Grace and Truth sounds interesting to you, please browse this site (there are links at the top of the page) for more information, perhaps even stop by the church and say hello.

There are parts of our service (ie...prayer / testimony time) that have open interaction in the congregation. Since we are a non-denominational church, we have members and visitors with different Christian traditions and levels of scriptural understanding. We feel open dialog is very important, even in those areas in which we may not agree. However, this open dialog does allow for personal understandings and opinions to be recorded or broadcast that may not agree with the "Tenets of Faith" of Grace and Truth Fellowship. Please understand that not everything said in our services speaks for the church as a whole but may be the opinion of individual members. Please see the "Tenet's of Faith" tab for our core beliefs.
