Our Ministries
Grace and Truth Fellowship has many opportunities for those wishing to be involved in ministry. As members of the Body of Christ, all are called to serve. If you are interested in getting involved or are unsure what area God has gifted you to serve in, please contact the leadership, we would be happy to discuss potential ministry opportunities with you.
Children's Church
Children's church (Kindergarten through 6th grade) is held every Sunday during the prayer service portion of the Sunday service. During this time the children will have a community prayer time, a brief song time, and a biblical lesson. At the conclusion, the children will return to sit with their parents for the sermon. As the adult service is less formal on Wednesday night, so is the children's ministry. The activities rotate and cover everything from bible studies to music. Games to art projects. Though less formal, there is always a biblical theme to the activities.
First Sunday Social
The first Sunday of each month we have a social night from 6:30 to 7:30. The name "Social" does not mean there is no Bible. On social nights we connect socially around biblical games, discussions, or projects. This is designed to meet the needs of those who connect to the body socially. Everyone is always welcome whether they attend Grace and Truth or not.
5th Sunday Sing
Every fifth Sunday we get together for a sing from 6:30 to 7:30pm. After a time of prayer the instruments come out and the voices come alive. This event is open to everyone. Songs that are not on the Grace and Truth song list do need to be submitted in advance. Our worship song guidelines are relaxed a bit for Sunday nights in order to accommodate as many songs as we can. If you would like to sing in the crowd, find a month with five Sunday's and stop by. If you would like to play and sing, please contact us in advance.
Nursery
As of now, we do not have a dedicated nursery. We do have a room that overlooks the sanctuary that mothers may use if needed. This room has a view of the sanctuary with a monitor and sound from the sanctuary.
Women's Ministry
The Titus 2 Women. The Titus 2 women's group is a ministry dedicated to developing women of God in accordance with the characteristics outlined in Titus 2:3-5 . . .the older women likewise, that they be reverent in behavior, not slanderers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things--that they admonish the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, to be discreet, chaste, homemakers, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the Word of God may not be blasphemed.
As women of God, we strive to grow and mature in a way that glorifies God and mentors the younger women of the church to grow into Titus 2 women. The group is led by the pastor's wife, Amy Clark. The Titus 2 women typically meet every other week (usually on Tuesday evenings) in the home of one of the ladies. We share a meal at 6:00 pm, followed by fellowship and Bible study at 7:00 pm. All are welcome to attend (you do not have to be a member of Grace and Truth Fellowship). Please consider joining us, we would love to grow with you!
