The vision of Grace and Truth Fellowship is to serve God in an often under-churched area, downtown.  Our desire is to seek out the lost in order to help fulfill God’s Great Commission.  Understanding of course, we are also charged with the responsibility of following God’s will, teaching His Word, and equipping the Saints to live in service to Him.

   As a small, volunteer based fellowship, we are looking for those who God would call into a small community local ministry.  We believe every member of the Body of Christ is gifted for ministry.  Although there are those who are called to leadership within the church, leadership cannot possibly possess every gift and talent required for a successful ministry.  God has formed the body to work as a whole, each member has a role to fill.  The church can only be perfected when we are working together as a body, each member serving in his or her God-given gift.  That said, the purpose of the church is to represent Christ to the world and therefore our greatest works will always be performed outside the walls of the church.    

   Our services are in a somewhat non-traditional setting.  As a storefront church in the downtown area, we are trying to take the Gospel teaching to an area with many people and few churches.  Our Sunday morning service format follows a traditional order of service with children's church during the "prayer" service.  The children return to their families during the preaching of the Word.  The format for Wednesday night service varies from time to time.  Though normally an open discussion it can be formal instruction or even video based teaching.  In any case, it is always less formal and less structured than Sunday service.

     We truly understand this type of ministry is not for everyone.  But, if you are interested in getting involved, in growing and maturing in Christ, and in serving in the areas of your God-given gifts in this type of setting, Grace and Truth Fellowship may be just the place for you!
